1. Shifting improving the quality of efficient freight options (such as rail and integrated distribution services), 

2. providing incentives to use the most efficient option for each type of delivery, 

3. increasing load factors, 

4. improving logistics, and 

5. reducing unnecessary shipping distances and volumes.

1. Load Centering is very important for Malaysian operation. Identify their important existence and give and examples of their successful in others country or if possible in Malaysia.

2. ‘National Automotive Policy were launched on October 2005, one’s of the policy is to abolishment of excise duty rebates for Proton and other national car manufacturers’ and ‘Malaysia is supporting the implementation of Kyoto Protocol’. With two statements above, please justify the contradiction of this policy by providing examples of their objective and explain how to solve this problem.

3. Malaysia Energy Center determines in 2004, transportation sector has contributed 32.5% emission gas in Malaysia. How the environmental policies may give impact to the transport industry in term of technologies, transport policy in urban area and planning system.
